Team Experiences


“Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success” – Henry Ford.

The Team Experiences are divided into two parts; the Team Member Programme (TMP) and the Team Leader Programme (TLP).

Participants of these programmes goes through an intense 8 weeks to one year team experience where they are a Member or Leader in a team to drive the organisation’s operation.

 

Conferences

Every year, AIESEC organises over 400 conferences globally in 124 countries. In AIESEC Hong Kong, we hold 4 national conferences every year.

  • Discover: First national conference for newies to get to know about AIESEC (Around Oct or Nov)
  • Winter National Conference: Preparation for taking up leadership roles (Jan)
  • Spring Conference: Transition, meaning all the current TLP participants will have mass knowledge and skill transition to prepare and equip the new leadership team (Around Mar or Apr)
  • Youth Summit: To empower youth to be a better leader and a global leader, Open to public (Around June or July)

Conferences last from 3 to 10 days where sessions and workshops are organised by AIESEC Facilitators or AIESEC’s Partners. Conference delegates are provided with the environment to expand their social network both within AIESEC and also to the external environment through the interaction with our partners.

Our Programmes

The Team Member Program is one of the most important means through which AIESEC provides its members the opportunity to choose the path to leadership skills. This stage offers access to a global network of youth and experience learning in a team practice through an interactive learning environment.

  • Plan execution skills

 

Team Leader Program is the experience that will provide you personal and professional development through the team building and team management. The participants will gain experience in leading other members or teams and guiding them in their work, thus becoming an essential part of their development.

  • Negotiation skills
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Team Management skills

 

The Team Member Programme is available to university students who are currently undergoing undergraduate or postgraduate education in one of the seven universities with an AIESEC office. The Member recruitment process takes place during September and October each year.

The Team Leader Programme is currently only available to AIESEC members who are currently participating in one of the AIESEC Programmes. You may contact your university’s AIESEC entity to know more.

Recruitment Procedure

To join the Team Member Programme, there will be a set of stages applicants are required to go through:

1. Recruitment Talk

In order to provide more information about AIESEC, the Local Committees will hold a Recruitment Talk in the campus. You are required to attend one of them in order to receive their application form.

2. Application Form

Applicants are required to complete an application form to assess their motivation, their personal alignment with AIESEC.

3. Student Assessment Centre

This is a Group Interview to assess the applicants ability to work in a team environment.

4. Individual Interview

Finally, based on the final individual interview the candidates will be selected to join the Team Member Programme or not.
